NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for arrivals of tourists in Israel from the United States in July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a 4% increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than the number of visitors in 2019.

“It is so thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers of 2019” stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States remains our biggest market for tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic there was a record-breaking number of monthly numbers of tourists entering the country. We are thrilled to see this shift and anticipate an upward trend that will continue for months and even years.

Not far behind in the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing its tourist arrivals in Israel with 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in August.
