NEW YORK – September 8 2022Record-breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists during July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to see the growth in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he said. “The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism.
