Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Numbers from USA

NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today new record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022 that’s a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 that’s an increase of 13% from 2019.

“It is so exciting to witness a new increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels in 2019.” said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is our most popular destination for tourism to Israel and prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entries each month. We’re so happy to see an improvement in the trend and anticipate a steady upward trajectory for months and years to come.”
