Fico Gutierrez , the candidate, got up at dawn to run 21 km in Corre mi Tierra Half Marathon in Medellin.
Fico ran alongside Margarita and his wife along with 15 thousand other people who were in the streets surrounding Antioquian capital.
Fico is an Medellin resident, who is famous for his athletic pursuits — he runs marathons and bicyclesand said that he will advocate for Colombians as president through the promotion of popular schools within the territory, seedbeds at an early age, as well as the development of infrastructure.
He said that the government program offers support to those who are determined to improve academically and promote every sport discipline.
While he walked through the streets of Antioquia amid the marathoners, Fico received thousands of affirmations of love and appreciation for his presidential campaign. Many runners walked up to Fico to show their support.
