While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began his journey into ministry while still in AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is home to millions of followers and associates across the world.

In 2002, during the atmosphere for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as a Christian ministry on television in Africa. The broadcast stopped in May of 2004, following the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by churches.
