Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on the 7 7 of December 1973 to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Oyakhilome Family Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. After his secondary and primary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome got involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ. YFC was growing and eventually became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry with millions upon millions members around the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.

In the context of the 2002 miracles program, BLW became Africa’s most prominent Christian ministry. They stopped airing the program in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn’t be allowed to continue by churches.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry encompasses four areas that include publishing ministry; healing ministry; television ministry; and teaching ministry. It is from those ministries that he has culled out the healing school, environment for miracles, and Pastor Chris live prayer network.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative that seeks to increase the leadership potentials Africans have, was founded. The foundation supports young Africans who demonstrate leadership and positively impact their generation. They achieve this through education and youth empowerment .

The foundation recognizes the young leaders through an award ceremony called The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. It is held on the Eve of each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The president of BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome, presents the award to the winners.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was created to improve the quality of life and overall health of communities as well as countries by encouraging better emergency response services in case of incidents and emergency situations. The foundation plans to accomplish this feat by educating the public about health advocacy, community-based and other programs , while also providing the necessary support to national policies in trauma treatment.

More than a thousand sessions of training in emergency and safety were given by the foundation. It is said that they succeeded in educating thousands of schoolchildren, law enforcement officers, teachers, caregivers, and road transporters.

Bible For All Mission (BFAM) A christian-based organisation, is committed to developing, producing and global distribution of bibles for all ages. The Bible is available in any language or format they know about. Through this they can hear God’s Word and experience his life-changing message.

BFAM was able to distribute hundreds and thousands of free Rhapsody Bibles to prisons, hospitals and hospitals as well as communities across many countries such as South Africa and Nigeria. Through a network of Bible sponsors and volunteers from all over the world this project was made feasible.
