Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on the 7 of the 7 of December 1973, to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. Following his primary and secondary education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

While in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began to explore ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, today Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was then known as the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.
YFC was quickly growing and soon became the largest college fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Oyakhilome Lagos is the church’s main office. Oyakhilome Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization with millions of associates around the world.
Through the”Atmosphere of Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry via television. The programme was canceled in the month of May, 2004 by the president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who declared that the churches would stop broadcasting miracles on television.
