Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome and was born on the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He went to primary and secondary school. He then attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with a BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

While still in school at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at that time called Youths For Christ.

YFC grew and was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates across the world.
