Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on 7 December 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. After his secondary and primary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while he was still an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC has seen rapid growth and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
