Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born 7 December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

AAU also gave the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the field of ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.

YFC grew quickly and became the largest college organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church has its headquarters in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide ministry that has millions and associates worldwide.
