Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor, TV host, as well as a writer. He is the president of the Believers’ LoveWorld Inc which is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born 7 December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. He completed his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University. After that he graduated with the degree of BSc Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC). YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with thousands of followers and associates all around the world.

BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on television across Africa thanks to its”Atmosphere for Miracles” programme in 2002. The broadcast stopped in May of 2004, following the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by the churches.

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established to improve the health status and quality of life of communities and countries through the promotion of enhanced emergency response capabilities in the case of accidents or emergencies.
