Chris Oyakhilome Biography of The President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor as well as a TV host and writer. He is also the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. He was a pupil at the secondary and primary school. He then went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with an BSc. in Architecture.

He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome ministry
While still at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.

YFC was growing, and eventually became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with thousands of followers and associates all around the world.

Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles program, BLW was the most popular Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was canceled in May 2004 when President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches must stop broadcasting miracles.

Pastor Chris’s Ministry is in four arms that include healing ministry, publishing ministry teaching ministry, and television ministry. He has also developed the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, which is an environment that encourages miracles and healing schools.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to investigate and enhance the leadership potentials of Africans. The foundation honors, acknowledges and supports young Africans who demonstrate leadership by positively impacting their generation. They do this by educating and guiding youngsters and encouraging youth empowerment.

The foundation acknowledges the work made by these young leaders through an annual award ceremony called The Next Africa Leaders’ prize. This ceremony takes place on the Eve after each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. The President of BLW – Reverend Chris Oyakhilome presents an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was founded in 2005 to reach vulnerable, poor orphaned kids around the world.

The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and communities by providing participation-based and sustainable interventions including child development programmes for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children’s school, in addition to other programmes.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded in order to enhance the health and quality of life of communities and countries by promoting improved emergency response services in the event of accidents or emergencies. The foundation is able to accomplish this goal by assisting in the development of national policies related to health education and trauma treatment.

Over 1000 trainings on first aid, safety, and emergency management have been offered by the foundation. They are credited with educating more than 1,000 students and law enforcement officers as well teachers, caregivers and road traffic personnel.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps is a worldwide christian medical outreach which will provide relief supplies, medical assistance as well as health education to refugees and internally displaced persons in areas affected by man-made or natural disasters.

The outreach is comprised of students from across the world including paramedics, doctors and Christian healthcare workers. These volunteers offer medical care, emergency relief and sustainable health solutions to communities and regions that are in need.

VMC also offers local health services and training to health workers. VMC is open to anyone whose main objective is to improve their health and offer humanitarian assistance to those in greatest need.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission is an evangelical, non-profit Christian organization which is committed to the creation, distribution, and worldwide distribution of the Bible to people of all generations and genders, in the way they comprehend. In this way they can be able to hear God’s Word, and receive the life-changing message.

BFAM has provided hundreds of Rhapsody Bibles free of charge to people in prisons, hospitals communities, as well as public institutions across the world.
