Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 th of December 1973, to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. Following his primary and secondary education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded a BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was before was married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.
Chris Oyakhilome ministry
While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
YFC quickly grew and became the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is now home to millions of associates and followers around the globe.
BLW became the most well-known Christian ministry on TV across Africa through its atmosphere for miracles programme in 2002. The program was cancelled in May 2004 by the President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that the churches would stop broadcasting miracles on television.

The InnerCity Mission for children is an evangelical, faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO was founded in 2005 in order to help the most vulnerable, poorest, orphaned, and least fortunate children in the world.

The TraumaCare International Foundation was established in order to enhance health and longevity for the local community. They also promote improved emergency response services in the event of is an emergency or accident. The foundation will achieve this goal by assisting in the development of national policies related to trauma and health education.
Over a thousand have received first aid and safety instruction through the foundation. The foundation has trained over a thousand teachers, law enforcement officers caregivers, road transport workers.
Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a world-wide Christian organization that offers aid and medical assistance to people who are internally displaced or are refugees from areas affected by natural or human-made disasters.
The outreach consists of students from all nations including paramedics, doctors and Christian health workers. These volunteers provide assistance with emergency care, as well as sustainable health care solutions for areas in crisis.
