Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family members to be born. He finished his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. There he earned a BSc. AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science. While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey into the ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization which has thousands of associates around the world.

Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry on television. They stopped airing it in May 2004 , when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop broadcasting miracles.
