Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome After his primary and secondary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

AAU also conferred him with an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began exploring ministry while still in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
