Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He completed his secondary and primary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with an BSc. AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC expanded and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.
