Chris Oyakhilome. Biography and the philanthropy of the president of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a pastor, television host and author. He is also the president of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. Also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first of his family members to be born. After his primary and secondary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained an BSc in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. Chris Oyakhilome Family He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began his journey into ministry while still in AAU. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing and eventually was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is an international ministry that has millions of followers and associates around the world.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles show, BLW was the most well-known Christian ministry on TV in Africa. They stopped airing the program in May 2004 after the former President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn’t be allowed to continue by the churches.

The Pastor Chris ministry Chris is divided into four distinct areas: publishing ministry, healing ministry, television ministry teaching ministry, and TV ministry. Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF) is a program designed to enhance and develop the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation recognizes, celebrates and encourages young Africans who demonstrate leadership by positively influencing their generation. They do this by educating and empowerment of youth .

The foundation celebrates the accomplishments of these young leaders with an award ceremonycalled The Future African Leaders Awards. This ceremony is held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena(LCA) Billings Way Oregun Ikeja. Winners are presented with an award by the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for children is a faith-based not-for-profit Organisation (NGO). The NGO was established in 2005 in order to help the most vulnerable, the poorest orphaned, least fortunate children in the world.

The foundation assists these deprived children and communities through sustainable and participatory interventions which include child development programs and childcare programs and family strengthening programs, InnerCity Mission for Children School and more.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was established in order to enhance the health and life expectancy of local communities and nations by promoting better emergency response in the event of accidents and emergencies. The foundation plans to accomplish this goal through health education as well as advocacy and community-based programs , while also providing the necessary support to national policies in trauma care.

Over a thousand training sessions in emergency and safety were given by the foundation. They have been credited with training over 1,000 schoolchildren, law enforcement officers and teachers, as well as caregivers, teachers and road traffic workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps is a global medical outreach of the christian faith that will provide relief supplies, medical assistance and health education for refugees and internally displaced persons in regions that are affected by natural or human-made catastrophes.

The outreach comprises of a group of christian health professionals, paramedics, and students from across the globe. They provide medical emergency care, relief assistance and long-term health care solutions to those who are in need.

VMC also offers services, such as health services to underserved areas and training for local health workers. Anyone whose primary intent is to improve health and provide humanitarian assistance to those who are in need can participate in the VMC outreach.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a Christian group, is committed to making, producing, and global distribution of bibles for all ages. The Bible is available in every language and format that they know about. This ministry helps people discover God’s Word, as well as his life-changing message.

BFAM has distributed hundreds of Rhapsody Bibles at no cost for people who are in hospitals, prisons, communities, and government institutions around the world.
