Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. He was raised in a family of faith with loving, committed parents. He is the elder of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her divine grace upon her son from the age of a child.
The entire family is involved with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is his brother. He is the revered Pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry that is home several top-selling gospel artists.
Pastor Chris has two daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following her father’s example of sharing God’s Word with the world. Also known by CSO as a singer, she is an award-winning, talented gospel singer and is part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College and was awarded an award from Bendel State University to study architecture. He is also a doctoral honorary from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. It was Ambrose Ali University when he received his call from God to be a minister and minister to the Lord.
