Pastor, faith-healer, author and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also called Christ Embassy is based out of Lagos, Nigeria. His unique method of sharing the Word of God has inspired millions across the world.
Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by loving and loving parents. He is the son of the elder of elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God’s Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of Oyakhilome’s Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son from the beginning.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in her father’s tradition of sharing God’s Word with the World. Also known by CSO, she has been a talented, award winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he received the BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honourary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Chris Oyakhilome Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received his calling from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.

The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Chris the pastor, Chris was a pioneer for satellite television and Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. Christ Embassy has a strong presence throughout Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miracles are performed.
