Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian, born on December 63 in Edo State. Chris Oyakhilome He was raised by his loving parents. He is the child of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the founders of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. The divine grace of her mother was passed down to her son in the early years of his life.
The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. His brother Reverend Ken (the revered Pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Carissa Sharon is following the path of her father of preaching the Gospel of God to the world. Also known as CSO, she is a gospel singer who has won awards and a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his studies at Edo College. Then he was granted a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he felt God called him to become a minister for the Lord.

The Man Of God was in the University of Cambridge when He founded the church that would eventually grow to become one of the largest in the world. His prayer group, ‘Youth For Christ’, would quickly be one of the university’s most popular groups. They would later go on to form LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.
Under Pastor Chris’s guidance, under Pastor Chris’s direction, the LoveWorld ministry became an innovator in satellite television and Christian programming and production. Chris Oyakhilome Family LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to broadcast 24 hours a day from Africa through free-to-air channels. There are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks around the world.
Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. The church has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa and Canada, in which Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions during which miraculous events are witnessed.
Music and Gospel Music are an important part of the worship. Pastor Chris supports Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry to train choirs. Many of these singers become successful solo artists through Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s inspiration and guidance.
