Pastor, faith-healer, author and TV presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also known as Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The company, also called Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique interpretation of God’s Word has inspired thousands of people across the globe.
Pastor Chris: The Man
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a child of faith, who was raised in a loving family and supported by his parents. He was the oldest of four children of the elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina, and the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace on her son from an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry includes the entire family. The Reverend brother of Ken (the revered pastor of Christ Embassy Houston, Texas Church) and a member of the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council are his two sisters. KattyWorghiren, the director of LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry is home of several top-selling gospel musicians.
Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his studies at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship that allowed him to pursue studies at Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There was he obtained an BSc. in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was the place where he sensed God called him to be a minister to the Lord.

The Man of God who was still in university, began what would eventually become one of the most important churches in the entire world. A small group of prayer known as Youth for Christ’ was created. It would grow to become one of the largest and most popular organizations at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions through the founding of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television station broadcast from Africa to the the world, 24 hours a day, nonstop on free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on cable and satellite networks all over the world.
Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria in addition to South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry also has two Healing Schools located in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris is the instructor for seasonal sessions where miracles can be achieved.

The Man of God established NGOs to deliver vital services and bring hope to the poor, needy, and forgotten. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising living standards in the most underdeveloped areas.
COFI’s umbrella encompasses the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM), the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organizations strives to enhance the lives of individuals and health, well-being and overall well-being.
