Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his loving parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies, of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who instilled her divine grace in her son at a very young age.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education in Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he earned a BSc degree in Architecture, and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and become a minister.

The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Pastor Chris, became an early pioneer in satellite television and Christian television programming. LoveWorldSAT broadcast the first Christian television station from Africa to the rest of the world throughout the day, via free-to-air networks. Today, LoveWorld stations can be found on satellite and cable TV networks around the world.
Chris Oyakhilome Family Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two healing schools, which are based in South Africa.
